Did you get through that weekend alright? It should be cooler this week, and thus safe for going outside. Here’s some things you can check out right here in town.

Wednesday morning is The Outpost, a free summer drop in activity and lunch program for kids in three different parks: Shute Park, Shadywood Park, and McKinney Park. There are arts, crafts, sports, science, and water fun to be had for youth between 1 and 18 years old, so stop by.

The Evening Book Group meets Wednesday night at 6:45 to discuss Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff. It’s probably too late to read it now, but if you’re familiar with the work you should stop by.

Thursday night the Hillsboro Hops play the Eugene AquaSox at 7:30, over at Ron Tonkin Field.

And that’s just for starters! Check out our complete calendar to see all the events happening in Hillsboro, and feel free to subscribe with your phone or computer to stay up-to-date.
