The concert will feature “William Tell Overture” by Giacomo Rossini, “Magnificent Seven” by Elmer Bernstein, “Light Cavalry” by Franz Suppi, “Hoedown” from Rodeo by Aaron Copland, “On the Trail” from Grand Canyon Suite by Ferdie Grof, “The Cowboys” by John Williams and “The Entertainer” by Scott Joplin.

The orchestra will also perform a special piece, “Inis Mona/Tri Martolod,” composed and conducted by bassist Sean Stalley. The music is an old 18th Century folk tune, used and arranged by many people over the decades.

The concert continues the 15th season of community concerts by HSO and will be under the direction of Conductor Sharon Northe. Audience members who “dress for the music theme” win a prize.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for children and seniors, with ages 12 and under free. Tickets are available at the door or in advance through MIR Music, 331 E. Main St., Hillsboro.
